Live Dragon Tiger Rules

Dragon Tiger is extremely simple to play. Two cards are dealt: one to the Dragon betting position on the table, and one to the Tiger betting position. The betting position that gets the higher card wins.

  • As the player, you place your bets on the Dragon, the Tiger, or the Tie. You will find the Side Bets in the section below.
  • Aces are the lowest-ranking cards, with the rest of the cards following their natural values – two being the next lowest and the king the highest card.
  • The highest card wins in Live Dragon Tiger, regardless of the suit.
  • In the case of a tie—both the Dragon position and Tiger position being dealt a card of the same value—players lose 50% of their bet on either Dragon or Tiger.
  • Winnings are paid for the winning bets at the end of each game round.

Side Bets

You can place a number of side bets for each game round. They are as follows:

  • Dragon Big and Tiger Big bets win if an eight or higher is dealt to the corresponding main position. They lose in cases of seven or lower.
  • Dragon Small and Tiger Small bets win if a six or lower is dealt to the corresponding main position and lose in cases of a seven or higher.
  • Winning cards for the Dragon Odd and Tiger Odd betting positions are: A, 3, 5, 9, J, K.
  • Winning cards for the Dragon Even and Tiger Even betting positions are: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, Q.
  • 7 is not included in the Dragon/Tiger Odd/Even bets, and in cases of a 7, all Odd/Even bets lose.
  • 7 is not included in the Dragon/Tiger Big/Small bets, and in cases of a 7, all Big/Small bets lose.
  • Side bets are not associated with the main game bets. You can bet on the Dragon main bet position and a Tiger Odd side bet, and vice versa.

  4. Drawing Cards: Once all players have placed their bets, the dealer draws one card for the Dragon box and one for the Tiger box.
  5. Winning: You win if the card in the box you bet on is higher in value than the other. For example, if the Tiger box has a J and the Dragon box has a 4, those who bet on Tiger win.
  6. Playing Against the Dealer: The game is played against the dealer, and each player has their own set of Dragon, Tiger, and Tie boxes.
  7. Payouts: Winning on Dragon or Tiger pays even money, or 1x the initial bet.
  8. Tie Bets: You can also bet on a tie, predicting that both cards will have the same value. In a tie, you get back 50% of your initial bet and an additional payout of 10x the tie bet amount.
